The Braves ended 2004 proving that they had come a long way in a very short time. In just the third tounament in the 9-under Braves history, the team finished in second place at the AAU East Coast Clash of Champions.

The Braves opened the East Coast Clash of Champions, played at Carolina Forest High School, with a 16-6 victory over Johnson's Old Railroad Express. After falling 8-2 to the Wilmington (NC) Cardinals, the Braves moved into the Championship game with an 8-5 victory over the Coastal Sting. The Wilmington Cardinals claimed the title with a 12-2 win over the Braves.

Despite the loss, the tournament proved that this group of young men haqs come a long way in a very short period of time. The Braves 2005 season will kick off in Chapin, South Carolina on April 1 at the USSSA Qualifier "Fools Ball."
